Note: This page provides our California Proposition 65 warning for internet purchases. Where applicable, the same warning (or short-form equivalent) appears on product labels/packaging.
What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 (the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) requires businesses to provide a “clear and reasonable” warning before exposing individuals in California to chemicals known to the State to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. The official list of chemicals and more details are published by California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA). For general information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
Why you are seeing this warning
Footwear and accessories may contain components (for example, certain plastics, adhesives, trims, or finishes) that can result in very low levels of exposure to listed chemicals such as DINP (cancer) and DEHP (reproductive harm). The warning is provided so you can make informed decisions about your purchases.
