Foot Measuring
FIRST TIME ORDERS - Please Follow These Instructions:
-
Put on socks that you want to wear with your boots and sit in a chair. Be sure you have someone else trace your feet for you to ensure accuracy. They will need to hold a pen or a pencil straight up and down and will need to outline each foot on a sheet of paper. After getting a tracing while sitting, stand and repeat. Please label each tracing accordingly. Please note that if you bend down to trace your feet yourself, your tracings will not be accurate.
-
While still seated, measure your foot with a cloth or paper measure tape as shown in the downloadable diagram below. Hold the tape on the big knuckle of your big toe, called the ball joint, and pull it down across the bottom of your foot to the little knuckle, little ball joint, then back up to the starting point, so that you get the full circumference of your foot. This will establish the width of your foot for the ball. Please continue the exercise for your instep and heel measurement for both feet. Reference location on PDF diagram.
-
Measure around your leg at the 6", 8", 10", 14" and 16" intervals from heel to desired boot height. Example: if you want a 10" high boot, send us your 6", 8" and 10" measurements.
-
Please note your normal boot or shoe size, length and width. We discourage faxing or emailing tracings. They can distort in printing and skew measurements which can lead to false sizing.

If you wear the same brand of boots you are buying and you like the fit, please bypass the foot measuring instructions and send over your size.
If your foot tracings and measurements indicate that you need a special pattern, we will notify you before starting your order.
Please indicate if there are additional instructions or special notes directly on the sheet.
We look forward to getting you into your new pair of boots!
